Grudgematch

The sit–down between Shane Black and Edgar Wright that I helped engineer is up at Esquire.com and features this sweet-as-hell graphic.

After reading review after review of Wright’s Hot Fuzz, I’m struck by how inadequate most attempts to label the film are. To describe it as a satire of cop buddy films is wrong. Chud.com's “Agatha Christie getting gleefully buttfucked by Michael Bay” comes closer to capturing its genre-bending, balls-out enthusiasm. But like a really good mash-up the film goes someplace quite new, someplace beyond its source material.

Great piece jay. Enjoyed reading all 42 pages of the transcript; I believe that Black possibly won if a winner is necessary in Black vs. Wright.
Looks like the Yoko party was pretty fun as well what with all the scenesters.
