The astonishing subtlety of the great Mirren’s E2 is all well and good, but I’m still rather fond of Scott Thompson’s turn as the The Queen.

I'm a Helen Mirren fan all the way, and can't wait to see her E1 (sitting on top of my TV, thanks to Netflix) ... yet I must say no one could ever top the great Quentin Crisp in that role ...
