Being so busy this week I hadn’t had time to get into almost any galleries or museums here in Paris. In fact Saturday night was the first night I even went out after getting smacked down by the jet lag/red eye one-two punch and working quite a bit. The art gods were smiling upon me in a big way, however, as it was Nuit Blanche. It's a city-wide all night arts party with every gallery, museum and many cathedrals open until well past midnight and filled with instillations, films, dance performances and grafitti artists. My friend Fabien took me around and we spent hours wandering through spaces that would normally be closed at three in the morning but with their doors thrown open until near dawn, along with the endless crowds of happy people.
And there was this glorious full moon.
