THE BROOKLYN (DRESSLER STYLE)

1/2 oz Luxardo maraschino liqueur
1/2 oz Amer picon
1oz Antica sweet vermouth
2 oz Wild Turkey 101 rye

Stir, strain up, flamed orange peel garnish

Friday Night Cocktail: The Verdita

Mint, cilantro, pineapple and jalapeno. And tequila. A perfect first day of Spring drink. The Verdita is one that's almost hard to imagine until you've actually experienced it--our aim in making this video was to encourage people to try it, and, should they dig it, turn their friends on to it. Friday Night Cocktail: The Jameson Whiskey Sour.

Paula Reynolds, brand ambassador for Jameson, demonstrates how to make the perfect Jameson Whiskey Sour.  More Paula to come on the 17th as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Jameson Whiskey Sour

2 Parts Jameson Irish Whiskey
1/2 Part Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/3 Part Simple Syrup
Dash Egg White
Dash Bitters
Orange Twist for Garnish
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake over ice. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with an orange
twist.

Friday Night Cocktails: The Bennett

As the year's first wave of unabashedly warm weather sweeps across the Northeast, the Bennett seems an ideal choice to kick off the weekend. Jim Ryan makes his version here, with the signature Hendrick's cucumber garnish. Refreshing, enervating, not too sweet and not too tart, easy to source and to make, this Prohibition era cocktail dispels winter gloom instantly.  I, and my cameramen, can attest that the drink is unbelievably delicious: we shared the very one Jim makes here, and I believe we'd all agree that this just might be what they drink in heaven, during Springtime.

THE BENNETT

1 1/2 ounce Hendrick's Gin
3/4 ounce lime juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
2 dashes Regans' Orange Bitters

Shake and pour over ice into a rocks glass, or strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice.

The Over-Under Winter Punch

Over-Under Winter Punch
1 1/2 handfuls of dried cherries
5 Tsp honey Underberg bitters
00 ml strengthened chamomile tea
2 Gus pomegranate sodas
6 lemons
Ice: (frozen in a large container is best)
1 Liter Hendrick's Gin

Muddle the honey with the cherries, juice the lemons with a citrus press, stir. Add bitters, pomegranate soda, chamomile tea, large ice, Hendrick's. Hendrick's Gin.
