My piece on Asian influenced cocktails for Out is online here. I got to work with some of my favorite bartenders on this one-John Byrd from Dressler contributed the Manzana, a Barbancourt based drink with apple juice and chiles. Matt Fairhurst from behind the bar at Harvey Nichols Manchester came up with the Eastern Rose Martini, using Martin Miller gin and grapes, lychees and apple liqueur. And Dan Warner, brand ambassador for Beefeater, shared his creation the Land Of The Rising Snapper, blending tomato juice, soy sauce and wasabi and, of course Beefeater Gin.
